How I remember Las Vegas

Recently, I had a conversation with a couple of friends about USA.
Especially in the wake of the Las Vegas massacre, the incident seems to have tainted people's perception on safety in Las Vegas and the country itself.
Even before I decided to go for Work and Travel USA, everyone would tell me about how dangerous "that place" is filled with serial killers, guns and sex trafficking.
Thinking about it moved my fingers to type out this post.

Our first trip out of Park City was to none other than Vegas with Chih!
We had a blast on that trip.
Our second trip to Vegas was a NIGHTMARE for Jackson

The Good Stuff

Accompanied by Jackson's super duper awesome boss-man, Mr Chih and his lovely wife Huong...and our friendly Malaysian buddies.
They were all his babies, I'm like a half baby who got to tag along because of Jackson.

Eating like kings and queens!

Vegas is the place to go for never ending buffets...

Best Korean BBQ in my life at Biwon Korean BBQ & Sushi Restaurant

Must go to place for Korean BBQ, it was so worth it. USD20 for all you can eat, and I loved that they had variety of fresh and delicious meat

Must take the All Day menu because all the good stuff comes with that

Jackson so hungry he can't even take a proper photo

Buffets are everywhere in Vegas, so make sure you pick the right ones thats gonna make u happy and fat

We also had brunch in Blueberry Hill Family Restaurant
Their servings are huge, go with an empty stomach!

It's Showtime!

Chih brought us to watch a show located at the hotel which we were staying - Treasure Island

It is an original Cirque Du Soleil show featuring contortionists, acrobats and clowns.

It was amazing, I cannot believe that the sounds were played live as I literally thought that it was just background music the stunts were spectacular!

There are many other shows in Vegas that is worth to be seen.
I heard the "O"  and The Beatles LOVE are really good too.
Tickets of the shows I mentioned are between USD70-100

Vegas knows a good party

We went to watch Tiesto for just USD35 each, a couple of my friends sure had a night where what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas

Not the best pre-party photo, but you can see how excited the party people behind us.
On a side note, my goodness look how big my arm is compared to Yee Hui's

Winner Winner Chicken Dinner

You have not been to Vegas if you didn't visit the casinos they said.

We all won some except Jackson! If you are a beginner, go get your beginner's luck. Jackson played during his first trip which he won, on his second one he lost it all what a poor boy.

The Bad Stuff

Stolen

I guess people only see the fun and happy parts of our travelling. But Jackson had the worst day of his life in Vegas.

On our second trip, we stayed in a dodgy Airbnb in a dodgy neighborhood. Poor boy had his luggage stolen then lost money in the casino after! But thats alright, the money I won covered his casino loses eventually.

The worst part was that luggage contained all his brand new purchases for the last 4 months we stayed in Park City. He bought so much stuff that even during his off-days he would ask me if he could go to Tanger Outlets to shop! Someone just snagged his hand carry and disappeared into thin air. It wasn't cheap stuff either.

Worst time with Greyhound!

In one day Jackson became homeless, broke and a loser.

We were bound for LA using Greyhound from Las Vegas. Our bus was supposed to depart at 1:00am so we can have an 8 hour sleep in the bus.

At 1:00am they told us our bus will be delayed until 3am. So, we slept on the chairs and became homeless for the night.

3:00am departure time: We were informed that there was no driver for the bus, the departure will be delayed until 8am.

At this point Jackson just had it, out of no where his teeth starts bleeding too. FFFUU IT! Just buy the damn flight tickets to LA at 6am. It was just an hour by air. There is no way we were going to depart at 8:00am and spend another 8 hours in the bus.

We went to a casino during the waiting time and the banker was nice enough to teach us kids some tricks in Blackjack. But Jackson still lost money. Lose in the morning, lose in the afternoon, lose in the night.

After arriving at the LA airport, we were just exhausted we continued sleeping
